ABOUT

crayonbowl

It started with a big plate of crayons!

This centerpiece on the kitchen table inspired years of teaching art classes for children. Art Around the World, Art in Nature and Meet the Artist are just a few of the many enriching courses I have developed and taught.

As an artist and illustrator, I've found there's nothing better than sharing my passion for art with children! I believe art encourages many skill sets. Art is calming and builds self-esteem. Art opens up conversation and helps children process the world around them. And in today's world, there is now an even greater need for this therapeutic outlet.

Besides that, "unplugging" and creating is not only good for you... it's just plain old fun!
